"He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me besides still waters;
He restores my soul."

Psalm 23:2-3

Our address is 10723 Main Street, Fairfax, Virginia 22030-6985. We are directly behind the Fairfax Medical Center and can be accessed by the drive between Kelly Square and the Center. Our phone number is (703) 273-5300. The office is open weekdays from 8 to 5.

Our church building is nestled on an old farmstead in Fairfax City. You can't even see the steeple from Main Street. But leave the noise and the traffic, drive down what we call "Love Lane," through the woods and across the stream. Park. Walk through our tranquil gardens, our "Glebe." Sit on a bench by the fishpond or under the dogwoods. Listen to the birds. Feel the breeze. Commune.

Our church building reaches across a knoll. Come in. We worship in a simple, octagonal Sanctuary, gathered as family in a circle. Our building houses food pantries, meeting places, a library, the counseling center, offices, music rooms, a "Fellowship Hall" for large gatherings and concerts. Sun-splashed classrooms await the preschoolers. Listen to the children's laughter. Feel the love in this place. Commune.

Glebe Gardeners Enjoy Perfect Planting Weather

The Glebe Guild had a very good day Saturday, May 13 planting 32 flats of bedding flowers. It required a lot of effort by many stalwart gardeners. The weather cooperated by raining before the work, making the soil wet and soft, and then holding off until the work was done.

        We thank the following workers for their efforts: Ginger Avery, Brian Watt, Cathy Bowen, Janet Butler, Bob Dickson, Carol Drago, Sandy and Al Henderson, Toyoko Kepler, Marian and Fred Lokay, Carolyn and Lou Major, David Ralston, Imogen Saunders, Jean St. Clair, Charles Speer, Joyce and Kevin Strickler, Tad Thompson and David Watson. Marty and George Whipple, Tom Larsen and Doug Dunbar also helped on another day. We will all enjoy the fruits of their labor the whole summer. Thank you so much!

I have seen it so often! People leave my office after a counseling session and go sit someplace on the Glebe. They soak up the beauty and grace of this sacred place before they return to their busy lives. They leave blessed by the peace and beauty of this place created as a nature sanctuary.
