DEACONS Serving Others Our purpose is to be a caregiver to the entire congregation and share in your joys and sorrows. Whether it's delivering a rose bud to the parents or grandparents of a new born babe, sharing communion with the homebound or making a hospital visit, Deacons are on the go! FPC has a dynamic group of 16 adult and youth members who bring the love of Christ to the church and beyond. These members of the Board of Deacons are elected by the congregation and are ordained as officers of the church. FPC DEACONS take communion to members of our church who are not able to attend services every quarter. They would like to be sure that they offer this service to all members who may have need of it. If you know of any member who is homebound, in a nursing facility or for any reason unable to attend services, please let them know by contacting deacons@fairfaxpresby.com HOSPITALITY & WELCOME: the Deacons are also looking for church members who will help welcome new members to FPC.
