Food: Munchies and Desserts MOVIE NIGHT is returning to FPC on January 12 with the showing of the critically acclaimed Away From Her, staring Julie Christie. Based on Alice Munro's short story, “The Bear Went Over the Mountain,” the movie tells the poignant story of a couple's journey into the realm of Alzheimer's disease. As it examines the persistence and selflessness of love, it also explores the mysterious workings of memory and the beauty of grace. Anyone who enjoys good, thoughtful movies is encouraged to attend this event, sponsored by the Member Connections Ministry.
Movie munchies and dessert will be served and, as always, Pastor Henry Brinton will lead a discussion following the film. Join us at 7 p.m., Saturday, January 12 at the home of Darrell & Mary Ann Campbell, Please RSVP to Mary Ann at 703 815-4035 or mavcampbell@cox.net no later than Monday, January 7.
