Our Daily Bread
 

Our Daily Bread is an inter-faith organization which has more than 20 participating congregations dedicated to ease the plight of the impoverished and homeless families in Fairfax County. In addition to the Food Outreach Program, Our Daily Bread has three other major programs: Family Assistance, Housing Advocacy and Community Education.

Fairfax Presbyterian Church participates each year in the Food Outreach Program with two food drives. The food drives, held in the spring and fall, collect bags of groceries and diapers and distribute them to needy families. More than 80 bags of food and numerous diapers were delivered to 36 needy families in 1998 with a surplus of 40 bags of food and 36 bags of diapers being donated to the FISH food pantry.
