ANXIETY

 

The Lord is with you when you are with him.  If you seek him he will be found by you.

2 Chronicles 15:2

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be women of courage, be strong.

I Corinthians 16:13

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Deuteronomy 31:8

The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Exodus 33:14

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Hebrews 13:5

We say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.  What can man do to me?"

Hebrews 13:6

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heart comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Jeremiah 17:7 - 8

No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life.  As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Joshua 1:5

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Joshua 1:9

"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

2 Kings 6:16

Then Jesus said to his disciples:  "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.

Luke 12:22 - 23

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?

Matthew 6:26

And why do you worry about clothes?  See how the lilies of the field grow.  They do not labor or spin.  Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Matthew 6:28 - 30

But seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

I Peter 5:7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children, it will be a refuge.
