Bible Promises
CHANGE
Set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1-3If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
2 Corinthians 5:17You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:22-24I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, "Know the Lord," because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
Hebrews 8:10-12Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:19Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.
Isaiah 65:17-18The Father of the heavenly lights . . . does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17I the Lord do not change.
Malachi 3:6Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Revelations 21:1-5Our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin - because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
Romans 6:6-7By dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, andnot in the old way of the written code.
Romans 7:6You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.
Romans 8:9He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a man, that he should change his mind.
