COMFORT

God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

1 Corinthians 1:9

 

Through Christ our comfort overflows.

2 Corinthians 1:1

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

2 Corinthians 1: 3 – 4

 

For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

2 Corinthians 1:5

 

Jesus said to me, “MY grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

The Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you.

Deuteronomy 4:31

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
