DATING

You are not to keep company with anyone who claims to be a brother Christian but indulges in sexual sins, or is greedy, or is a swindler, or worships idols, or is a drunkard, or abusive. Don't even eat lunch with such a person.

1 Corinthians 5:11

A man who is not married is busy with the Lord's work, trying to please the Lord. . . .A woman who is not married or a girl who has never married is busy with the Lord's work.  She wants to be holy in body and spirit.

1 Corinthians 7:32, 34

Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?  Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

2 Corinthians 6:14

Walk in the way of good men, and keep to the paths of the righteous.

Keep company with the wise and you will become wise.  If you make friends with stupid people, you will be ruined.

Do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases.

Song of Solomon 2:7

God wants you to be holy and to stay away from sexual sins.  He wants each of you to learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable.
